Our Bridal Makeup & Things You Should Know

You are the most important person, it’s your day after all.

Are you worried that you wont look amazing on your wedding day? Getting the right makeup artist for your wedding is one of the most essential parts of preparing for your special day.

I want you to be the most beautiful woman on your special day. Of course your bridesmaids need to look great too; but with all the eyes on you, you need to look amazing.

Here are some things you should know, and some frequently asked questions:

About Beautè

I work within the suburbs of Melbourne and will travel to you for both a trial, and on the actual day.

I do makeup for the entire bridal party. From the Bride, to the Bridesmaids and also the mother of the bride.

What products do you use?

I use a variety of premium products which includes; Napoleon, Mac and Inglot.

These products are chosen because they are the best, and are required to make sure you look amazing on your wedding day.

I also use mineral makeup if required for sensitive skin :)

Will the makeup last all day?

We highly recommend purchasing a lip liner and/or a lip stick for the day for touch up of lips, with preferred colour, otherwise i will do the shopping for you and find the perfect colour to suit you on your special day

How long will it take to do my makeup on my wedding day?

When working out the timings on your wedding day, I like to arrange 40-45 minutes for each person.

I will usually spend slightly longer on the bride than the bridesmaids. Each person may not take 45 minutes, but by allowing for that much time we can overcome any hold-ups that may occur on the day

How early should I book?

I recommend getting a make-up trial done at least 6 months before the wedding. This way you can see if you like the style of make-up, and can make a booking 6 months in advance.

All good wedding makeup artists are usually booked out up to 6 months in advance, so the earlier you book the better.

The last thing you want is having to run around at the last minute and get a below average makeup artist days before your wedding.
